Our client a Commercial bank is looking to hire Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Design, plan, build and administer client desktop, windows servers, file sharing, mobile device and system management solutions.

  • Implement, support and optimize VMware, VDI and Citrix infrastructure. 

  • Maintains AD/Domain, Exchange/Lotus Notes, Sharepoint, McAfee Anti-virus, MoveIT, Veeam and Varonis infrastructure

  • Implement and review the AD group policy for security enhancement and automation.

  • Introduce and implement automated tool to streamline the service request fulfillment.

  • Recommend, implement and support other automation and security tools e.g. SCOM.

  • Assist to manage the outsource vendors to fulfill the required service level.

  • Assist to develop and maintain IT security policy and baseline pertaining to desktop.

  • Liaise with external vendors and internal users to provide system solutions.

  • Support the Disaster Recovery Site.

  • Enforce and execute problem and change management procedures.

  • Apply regular security patch non-office hours.

  • Perform ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  1. Knowledge, Skill & Attributes

  • Solid experience in multi-server network, Lotus Notes/Exchange email and large-scale desktop management.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Domain/AD, SCCM, SCOM infrastructure.

  • Exposure in VMware/Citrix and backup management.

  • Good technical, problem solving and project management skill plus vendor management exposure.

  • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Analyze problems, develop solutions and options

  • Action planning: Develop detailed action plans; project into the future and plan activities in advance; coordinate own/others’ time, resources, workload

  • Teamwork: Share experience and expertise with team members, understand group dynamics

  • Communication: Express complex ideas succinctly and persuasively

  • Excellent leadership and good command of spoken and written English.

  1. Academic and Professional Qualification

  • Degree holder in Information Technology or relevant discipline.

  • MCSE/MCITP/VCA/VCP certification is preferred

  • CISA, CISM, CISSP or other cybersecurity certificate is preferred

  1. Training and Relevant Experiences

  • Able to facilitate cooperation among team members.

  • 1+ agency contractors

  • Manage 2 to 4 vendors to perform project implementation and BAU supports

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders of BU/SU for project initiation, solution rollout, problem resolution and best practice alignment.
